"Character Under Construction": John Edwards and Chad Broscious come every other Thursday to invest in Coach Kegley’s Wellness classes.
We are so excited for our large format printer in the FabLab and have had fun putting it to use. One of the groups running for Junior Class Officers used it for a campaign poster; we also collaborated with the Music City Hall of Fame in Nashville who provided the digital copy of this Conway Twitty concert poster from 1970. We were able to print and frame it for the Oliver Springs Historical Society.
We received our School Bucks check from Food City in Oliver Springs today. We participate in the School Bucks Challenge where your points go directly to the school for cash! The 1st episode of the OSHS Sports Podcast "Bobcat Talk" is dropping THIS Friday! They will be releasing a video to accompany their podcast as well so be sure to tune in Friday for all things sports!

Fall 2024 Schedules for Football, Golf, Marching Band, Soccer, and Volleyball. All schedules were made by Journalism Students Tori, Ethan, Liam, Cianna, Elizabeth, and Isabelle.
Students had class meetings today with Mr. Branham and Mr. Booth going over policies, procedures, and reminders with students in each grade level today. They also received forms to have signed by parents that need to be read, signed, and turned back in as soon as possible. We are also still issuing Chromebooks so students who have not turned in their Chromebook agreement form need to do as soon as possible.
We are excited to welcome Bobcat Nation back to school today! It is going to be a GREAT school year! Dismissal will be at 11:51.
OSHS Car Rider Information: Students will continue to be dropped off in the mornings and picked up in the afternoons in the back parking lot by the field house and then they need to walk up the sidewalk to the gym lobby. Students are considered tardy after 8:20 and need to be dropped off at the office.

Students that did not pick up their schedules today can pick up a paper copy in the gym in the morning starting at 7:45. Students should be able to see them on StudentVue in the morning as well.

Make plans to attend the OSA Open House next Thursday, August 8 from 4:30-6:30pm! We hope to see you there! We will also be joined by Southern Sips serving up some great snacks and sweet drinks so make plans to visit their food truck as well.
