New Traffic Pattern - Please be Alert!

Ruritan Road entrance is now only for morning drop off and pick-up at the gym doors. Please do not enter the school at Ruritan Road if you are planning on parking and coming into the office. If you need to park and come into the building, please enter at the HWY 70 entrance. Also, HWY 70 is now ONE WAY - entering the school only. All cars exiting the school need to go out at Ruritan Road.

School Closed 02.25.2019

Roane County Schools (TN) will be closed on Mon, Feb 25, 2019, due to flooding and road conditions across the county. Central Office will be open.

Tennessee School Climate Survey

Midtown Elementary is participating in the Tennessee School Climate Survey. The survey is sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Education as part of a larger initiative to enhance school support for students, increase school safety, and provide a positive learning environment. You will be receiving a permission slip to allow (or not allow) your child to participate in this survey. Please be looking for it and return it as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please call the office at 882-1228

K-2 iReady Testing begins Monday, January 7th

K-2 students will complete Math and Reading iReady testing. This is our mid-year benchmark test. Results will be sent home during January. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Laws.
